The afternoon tea at Little Channels Bistro at Waltham Barn, chelmsford

Afternoon Tea at Little Channels Bistro

Little Channels Bistro at Channels Estate is set in the Essex countryside, close to Little Waltham. Set in a beautifully restored barn, oozing charm. This makes the perfect location to enjoy afternoon tea in Chelmsford. They also have a great outdoor space with heated patios for alfresco dining. We enjoyed the most wonderful afternoon tea at Little Channels Bistro. They have the perfect balance of sweet and savoury and it was one of my favourite afternoon teas I have visited. They make everything in house by their talented team and it is all baked fresh daily.

The Savouries

The savouries at Little Channels Bistro are a real treat. You receive a gammon ham & salad mini batch roll, tuna & cucumber sandwich and a coronation chicken focaccia. These were generously filled, incredibly fresh and very filling. A really nice addition to the savoury course was the homemade courgette & cheddar quiche and herby sausage roll.
